For me, the most meaningful place on campus is the Kellogg Center. I remember seeing the quad covered with snow through the 4th floor window on my first campus visit. It's a social spot with the eat shop and the many events that occur on the 2nd floor and it's also one of the places I work.
One of my favorite classes I've had at Albion was Gendered Communication, taught by Karen Erlandson. Not only was the course interesting, but the professor and group conversations made the class memorable. I love that a lot of my classes constantly have group discussion, everyone learns from other people's sides and perspectives.
The small, close relationship of the Albion community made for a good home. It is necessary for me to have good relationships with my professors to learn best and that's what I can easily find here at Albion. I love being able to stop and have a conversation with people as we pass on campus because everyone knows everyone.
My goal for after graduation is to move to Chicago and make a career out of performing. I know if I love what I do I will be happy, so the goal is to find a path I can follow that brings me joy and also pays for the life style I have. Currently, I believe that will be in acting.
