My favorite class at Albion was my first year seminar, Fly me to the Moon. In this class I had the opportunity to learn more about space and NASA. Additionally, we took a trip to Washington DC to see the Air and Space Museum, NASA Goddard Space Center, Smithsonian, and much more. This trip was an amazing experience and I was able to make great friends in this class as well.
To travel and find a career I am passionate about.
My favorite place on campus would be the Atrium in the Science Center. This area is so open, filled with natural light, and beautiful. This open area is also very quiet and peaceful. It is a place I can always get a lot of homework done, but it is also a place I can go to relax. Additionally, being in science, this is a great central area close to my classes and the offices of my professors.
I chose Albion because it gave me a different feeling compared to other schools I toured. Albion had an environment that felt very friendly, relaxed, and supportive. My tour guide seemed to know everyone as we walked around campus, showing how close the students on campus were. Additionally, a faculty member took the time to show me his research lab when he heard I was interested in science and research. This one on one student faculty interaction was easy to come by at Albion, which was something that I did not see at other schools. I could tell people at Albion cared about me as an individual and my education. I immediately felt at home.
